The 13th HIRAKU Achievement Presentation was held as an online event within Microsoft Teams.

The event started with the Opening Remarks from SASAKI Takuya, Executive Director for Research Affairs, Vice President, Tokushima University. Thereafter, OHE Mizue, Designated Assistant Professor, Tokushima University, introduced the HIRAKU Program Activities and Achievements.
In the first session entitled “Reporting Presentations by Internship Program Participants and the Comments by the Host Organizations, and Presentations on the Internship Experiences by the Participant after the Employment”, two former interns made the Reporting Presentations on their experiences during the Long-Term Internship and the respective officers in charge at the host organizations of the interns gave their comments. Thereafter, an experienced former intern shared their Presentation on the Internship Experiences after the Employment. Lastly, a question-and-answer session between the attendees and the aforementioned presenters was undertaken.

In the next session entitled “Post-Appointment Presentation by Tenure-Track Researchers”, the six researchers introduced themselves and their research. Also, they answered questions from the attendees about the detailed methods of the experiments they conducted, their future research vision, etc.

The event was successfully concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by ABE Manabu, Executive Vice President (Research and Academia-Government-Community Collaboration), Hiroshima University, which is the host institute for the next HIRAKU Achievement Presentation.
