Sachi Asano at Gifu University made three-minute presentation at 2019 Asia-Pacific 3MT Competition – Semi Final!!

Sachi Asano at The United Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Gifu University, the winner of the Global Challenge Award at the HIRAKU Three Minute Competition 2018, made three-minute presentation on her research at the Asia-Pacific 3MT 2019 Semi-Final, as a representative of HIRAKU Consortium. She competed with 56 representatives from universities across the APAC region.

She told us, “I was too shy and lack of confidence a year ago. I ‘ve participated in the HIRAKU 3MT Competition to change myself, but it was beyond my expectation to get a ticket to overseas competition. APAC 3MT competitors were all filled with confidence and I’ve learned a lot from their outstanding presentations. I’ve realized it is a long way to go to effectively promote myself to the world, but it gave me a big trigger to move on with confidence. I would like to send my gratitude to everyone that supported me to make this happen.”
