【Contents】
The keynote lecture was provided by Mr. Takashi Yoshimura, Director, Industrial Technology Bureau, Japan Business Federation (“KEIDANREN”). His presentation was titled “Industrial View on Enforcement of Collaborative Research through Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration ~Expectation on universities promoting innovation to explore futures~”. He shared the industrial view and their initiatives to enforce Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration for further improvement of Japanese research development capabilities, including the action plans/milestones of Society 5.0.
Following the keynote lecture, Prof. Misako Aida, Executive and Vice President of Hiroshima University (University Reform), made a presentation on the progress of the HIRAKU program.
After that, the below individuals made presentations to report their achievement in the two core programs under HIRAKU, the Program for the Practical Training and Engagement of Innovators and the Program for the Promotion of Young Researchers’ Independence and Mobility by Introducing a Tenure-Track System.
