Total 14 participants at Hiroshima Site have been divided into four groups by levels and languages. Them have come up with quite realistic and specific proposals, incorporating diversified backgrounds of each participant. They have experienced the practical application of various tools to effectively manage projects, at the same time, learned the significance of multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Each proposal was so diversified, such as development of new crops cost-effective and easy-to-grow for developing countries, AI technlogy development to identify health conditions of oocyte, development of eco-friendly materials to replace plastic, etc. From time to time, participants got opportunities to visit other groups to exchange opinions, which have given different views with valuable insights.
Feedback given from participants:
“As the seminar was “practical” workshop, it helps me to apply the things I have learnt. I will first think about our project in terms of what I have learnt (Faculty)”
“Group discussion was a good chance to learn each other and practice delivering our ideas. Very excellent in providing basic knowledge of project management which participant can improve further (M/D)”
Everyone including the facilitator seems to have fully enjoyed the two-days program, filled with active participation and learning experience.
